Clubs, workshops, classes and summer programs.
Clubs cost a small fee, and students need no experience, just curiosity.

Coding clubs
Our clubs meet once a week, for two hours, through a full semester. A club is a small group, about 25 students at most, working through real projects with volunteer professional software developers.
- A small fee per club, with no experience necessary.
- Open to students ages 11 and up. Registration stays open while there's room, so students can join in the middle of a semester.
- One club per student per semester, so more students get a seat.
Our clubs started as Girls Who Code clubs for girls in grades 6 to 12, meeting at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Albuquerque and at the University of New Mexico's Centennial Engineering Center. They've since grown to include virtual courses, both live and recorded.
Workshops
One-day workshops through the year give students a taste of a topic in a single session. We've run them with our partner TechGirlz.
Women in Tech Spotlight
The first 30 minutes of every club is a Women in Tech Spotlight: a woman with a career in technology gives a short talk about what she does and how she got there. Students meet real programmers, engineers and founders, and see themselves in them.
Classes
Classes are structured courses: one subject, taught from the beginning to a finished project, by the same volunteer developers who lead our clubs.
Summer programs
While school is out, our summer programs give students more time to build: longer sessions, bigger projects and developers to work alongside.
Online courses
When clubs couldn't meet in person, we moved them online with live and recorded courses, so students could keep learning from home. Registered students get a link to join each session.
